詩篇 49
- 1 (可拉 後裔的 詩,交與伶長。)萬 民哪,你們都當聽 這話!世上 一切的 居民,
- 2 無論 上流 下流,富足 貧窮,都 當留心聽!
- 3 我口 要說 智慧的言語;我心 要想 通達的道理。
- 4 我要側 耳 聽比喻,用琴 解 謎語。
- 5 在患難的 日子,奸惡 隨我腳跟,四面環繞我,我何必 懼怕?
- 6 那些倚仗 財貨 自誇 錢財 多的人,
- 7 一個 也無法 贖 自己的弟兄,也不能 替他將贖價 給 神,
- 8 叫他長遠 活著,不 見 朽壞;因為贖 他生命 的價值極貴,只可永遠 罷休。

- 10 他必 見 智慧人 死,又見愚頑人 和畜類人 一同 滅亡,將他們的財貨 留 給別人。
- 11 他們心裡思想:他們的家室 必永存,住宅 必留到萬代;他們以自己的名 稱 自己的地。
- 12 但人 居尊貴中 不能 長久,如同 死亡 的畜類一樣。
- 13 他們行的這 道 本為自己的 愚昧;但他們以後的人 還佩服 他們的話語。(細拉)
- 14 他們如同羊群 派定 下陰間;死亡 必作他們的牧者。到了早晨,正直人 必管轄 他們;他們的美容 必被陰間 所滅,以致無處可存。
- 15 只是 神 必救贖 我的靈魂 脫離陰間 的權柄,因 他必收納我。(細拉)
- 16 見人 發財、 家室 增 榮的時候,你不要 懼怕;
- 17 因為,他死的時候 甚麼也 不能 帶去;他的榮耀 不能 隨他 下去。
- 18 他活著的時候,雖然 自 誇為有福(你若 利 己,人必誇獎你);
- 19 他仍必歸 到 他歷代 的祖宗那裡, 永 不 見 光。
- 20 人 在尊貴中 而不 醒悟,就如 死亡 的畜類一樣。
