The ekklesia of Jesus Christ are those ones who God has called out for Himself. Ekklesia is a Greek word that means an assembly of "called out" ones and is synonymous with the Hebrew kahal of the Old Testament. It was applied by the writers of the New Testament to the Christian congregation.

One can see that this word is far bigger than one group of believers in one generation, but is rightly applied to all the saints of all the ages. Therefore He is calling you out for Himself!
